Thanks to Team Gleason, our trip to Washington D.C. over Christmas break was another great memory-making trip!

We were able to take a couple different wheelchair accessible trolley tours
(during the day and at night) so we got to see all the main things of DC.

We did a tour of the Capitol and Arlington Cemetary and saw many of the places shown on TV with President Carter’s passing which was neat to have seen those places in person.

We also visited The Holocaust Museum, The White House, Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum, The Lincoln Memorial, The Washington Monument, The Jefferson Memorial, MLK Jr. Memorial, The Korean War Memorial, The Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and The National Archives to name a few.

While there were many somber moments of remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and leaders who shaped our country,
we also laughed so much on this trip!

I can’t even say what my favorite part was as there’s so many breath-taking, grandeur buildings and monuments.

We also marked off Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland on our list of states to see.

All in all, a great trip!

Thanks again for everything!
