Our recent trip to Fort Myers, Florida, was an exceptional experience,
and we extend our sincere gratitude to Team Gleason for their exceptional service.
Our flight arrived after a two-and-a-half-hour journey, and we were greeted with a smooth transition to Fort Myers.
Subsequently, we secured a taxi from the airport to our accommodations at the Margaritaville Resort.
The resort’s amenities were exceptional, particularly the remarkable pool, where I thoroughly enjoyed swimming.
To access the beach, we utilized the beach wheelchair, which provided a comfortable and accessible way to reach the water’s edge.
The warm Florida water and powdery sand
created a soothing and inviting atmosphere.
The most memorable aspect of the adventure was simply observing the dolphins in their natural habitat.
Their crew was exceptional, and they designated a specific spot on the boat for us to sit.
We chose to sit in the shade to ensure our comfort.
As we were the last ones on board, after everyone had been settled, the crew came out to take pictures with us. We were fortunate enough to see several birds.
Additionally, there were numerous dolphins that followed us and played in the waves.
I highly recommend visiting Fort Myers, staying at the Margaritaville resort, and taking the dolphin tour.
A highlight of our trip was the dolphin tour, which was an unforgettable experience.
The tour guide demonstrated remarkable generosity by accommodating our wheelchair, and they even offered to capture our adventure with photographs for our website.
During our adventure, one of the most challenging aspects was simply relaxing in the sun by the pool and then heading to the beach for more relaxation.
We primarily engaged in these activities during the evening hours, allowing us to return home after enjoying the day.
Upon our return, we took showers, had a light meal, and participated in the sunset ceremony.
Playing the drums was a particularly enjoyable experience.
The sunsets at Fort Myers Beach are breathtaking, and I consider them to be among the most magnificent I have ever witnessed.
The adventure visiting Florida in July was magical, the resort was lovely. We didn’t even have to leave the resort they have so many restaurants on the premises. We took in the pool during the day and then we hit the beach mainly in the evening.
It was a great experience to go there and relax and not do anything.
The parking attendant guys were great. They stored the beach wheelchair for us every day, so I transported out on my beach wheelchair into my regular wheelchair and vice versa.
