Disneyland!
Team Gleason helped us go on this adventure trip 🥰.
They’re a wonderful ALS organization that helps families with equipment or trips.
The yearly cost of living with ALS is 💰💰so much is not covered by insurance and there are so many different pieces of equipment you are constantly adding to your home.
So thankful for the gift of this trip where I also could join in the fun ❤️.
I was able to transfer into a seat and sometimes even stay in my chair.
It was so sweet to see the kids thinking about what rides I could do.
This month marked 8 years of living with ALS and also my birthday.
It’s always a rush of every emotion from gratitude that I am here with my family to anger and grief reliving the days I was first diagnosed.
I can remember every detail of those 3 days but in order to survive I choose to live in the moment choosing to find the joy and gratitude of the moments I am given.
It truly was a joy seeing the kids experience Disney again and also proving that ALS was not going to hold me back from doing the rides I wanted😅thanks to the help of the wonderful Susan Baker and David Boone.
