Jazz Fest 2025 was a blast!
Team Gleason made it so easy for us with advice on nearby hotels, bus passes, and upgraded tickets for all the events. There were so many great performers that we were unable to see them all.
Together with our daughter from northern VA, my wife Darlin’ and I enjoyed rock, blues, zydeco, and gospel all weekend. And needless to say, the food was amazing!
To top it all off, we got to meet the Team Gleason people who have done so much for us, and even met the Man Himself, Steve Gleason.
It was a weekend we will never forget!
Besides meeting the team, we caught a few acts that I’d been wanting to see live such as Robert Jon and the Wreck, The Roots, and Jake Shimabukuro were amazing on ukulele.
Jazz Fest has so much that you don’t see anywhere else!
Accessibility was excellent on the transport buses and at the event. Not all buses have lifts for wheelchair users, so there was sometimes a wait to get picked up, but this wasn’t a big problem for us.
The only real issues we had were finding the right place to get our passes to access the disabled section.
I still can’t believe that Team Gleason made all this possible for us! It couldn’t have been any more fun.
