What an amazing holiday I’ve had thanks to Team Gleason! Because of my new power chair, I was finally able to scratch two very important things off my bucket list.
After working in the service industry for over 29 years and enjoying the work I did, I’ve always wanted to be able to enjoy the treasures of this beautiful city (New Orleans).
My family and I are dedicated Saints fans, and we have always wanted to go to the rivalry games between the Saints and the Falcons, but I never could go.
Boy, did those Falcons let me have it! All in fun 🤩
Not only that I was able to take a photo with my 2 favorite guys in the world and one of my favorite Pelicans players Jose Alvarado. I am so good right now. So much fun.
Now I’m anxiously waiting for springtime; my trusted power chair will make touring the historic homes of New Orleans sprinkled with all the different colors of azaleas one more thing that I can scratch off my bucket list.
Just when I thought I would not get a chance, Team Gleason stepped in and made it possible.
Oh, what fun it was!
I decorated my chair in black and gold with a T-shirt screened prints with my Thanksgiving menu and the main dish was deep fried falcon.
Though my team didn’t win, there were a lot of photos taken of my chair.
All made possible through Team Gleason. NO WHITE FLAGS!
