It is nice to have fun things to look forward to when you have ALS or any other chronic health condition.
We enjoyed the trip, although I would not recommend staying at the Disneyland hotel. They were not very accommodating when it comes to disabilities. Next time, we will try staying nearby at a different place.
I am glad I brought a water filter with me. Water is always a challenge.
The Starbucks in the Park and Downtown Disney supplied warm filtered water. I was getting over a cold, and the warm water helped with the mucus getting caught in my throat. January might not be the best time to travel.
On the upside, the park was not too crowded. The disabled got to skip the line every time.
It was great to spend time with my daughters. This was the best part of the trip for me.
They would suggest good walking shoes. I was in my travel powerchair.
The staff made getting on and off the rides as easy as possible. Every ride was accessible.
Many thanks to Team Gleason for making this trip possible. We spent most of our time in or near Star Wars.
In California Adventures, I highly recommend The Cars Ride. Disneyland is a great park during the day.
We found that we liked California Adventures at night. The water show was spectacular.
