Team Gleason is gearing up to launch our Voice Preservation Dashboard, a tool to help people easily and securely “bank” their voices early in disease progression so that they can create a personalized synthetic voice. Individuals will be able to use the Dashboard to explore voice options from a growing list of providers, including Microsoft Custom Voice and Acapela’s My-Own-Voice. The use of Microsoft Custom Voices within speech devices is a new technology, meaning playback options are currently limited, but more are coming. Later this year, Microsoft Custom Voice will be integrated for use in Tobii Dynavox products, CBoard, and other AAC apps and software.
