For our adventure, we went to Super Bowl LX in San Francisco!!
We rented a van and drove from Oklahoma to get there.
Going to the Super Bowl was truly a dream come true for my husband, David, and I would go anywhere with him.
This trip showed us that it’s possible to still go out and have fun and make some awesome memories while living with ALS.
My favorite part of the Super Bowl was just being able to experience it with my husband and seeing how thrilled he was to be there.
It was also pretty neat to see how the halftime show stage and setup comes together and to make some awesome memories while living with ALS.
The most memorable part of the Super Bowl was when my husband met and took a photo with J.B. Smoove who was sitting in the section next to ours several rows down. He was so nice!
Our challenges involved transfers, mainly in the bathroom. This is something I feel like we just have to learn how to handle during traveling and staying at places other than our house.
We are super grateful to Team Gleason for the van rental and hotel stay, and also to Andrew Jo for assisting with the Super Bowl tickets!
