His portable power wheelchair, loaned by Team Gleason, allows him to get outside and enjoy the world. For those living with ALS, independent mobility is crucial for a renewed sense of identity.
Recently, Greg and his wife, Marty, visited Wellfield Botanical Gardens in Elkhart, Indiana!
“Greg and I are able to walk together in the parks around town. He is comfortable and happy to be in the wander of nature.”
The best part is? They’re able to keep Greg’s portable power wheelchair in their car. It’s easily accessible for quick grocery store runs and errands and it’s always there when they know the trip will be long and draining.
