Motorized Headrest
As ALS patients lose mobility of the neck, most end up in wheelchair headrest like the Savant. This headrest is designed to hold the head rigidly in one position. This could result in further reduced mobility. If the patient had some control of the position that may extend mobility.
Features:
Savant Headrest
Control by Eyegaze
Safety software that keeps pALS from being stuck without access to Eyegaze
Powered by chair
Motion:
Flextion to hyper-extension
Elevation of headrest
Rotation left and right on the axis of the head
